Lanhydrock is one of the most popular National Trust properties, being the perfect country house and estate, with the feel of a wealthy but unpretentious family home. After a devastating fire in 1881 the Jacobean house was refurbished in high-Victorian style, using the best in country house design and planning, not to mention the latest mod-cons.
The house sits in an estate extending to over 1000 acres of parkland and woods as well as attractive formal gardens.
We will leave Sidmouth Triangle at 9.30am and the cost is £16 for National Trust members or £30 for non-members. Booking closes on 27th April.
